Renal Insufficiency is also called Renal Failure. It means that kidneys are
no longer able to do their jobs. There are not enough tissues which can store
electrolytes and discharge waste from body. As for Renal Insufficiency, there
are two terms: Acute Renal Failure (ARF) and Chronic Renal Insufficiency(CRI).
Renal Insufficiency can be divided into the following four periods.
1. Renal reserve compensatory period. Because the kidney reserve capacity is
quite strong, clinically, the kidney ability of discharging metabolic products
and adjusting the balance between water and electrolyte also can meet the normal
needs even the kidney declines in some extent. There are no symptoms in clinical
practices; the test of renal function is also in normal extent or a little
higher.
2. Renal Insufficiency period. Around 60% to 75% of glomeruli are damaged.
There are some difficulties when kidney excretes metabolic wastes. Creatinine
and urea nitrogen may much higher than normal level. Patients in this period may
show the symptoms, such as anemia, lassitude, weight reduction and
absent-minded, etc.
3. Kidney Failure period. 75% to 95% of the kidney get serious damage in this
period and have no enough ability to maintain the stable environment of human
body. Patients may easy to get tired and weak; they can hardly concentrate to do
things in daily life. In addition, anemia and nocturia will become more
obviously. The level of serum creatinine and urea nitrogen increases obviously.
It is also called azotemia period.
4. Uremia period or end-stage of Renal Insufficiency. At this time, there are
more than 95% of the glomeruli damaged and some obvious symptoms, such as severe
nausea, vomit, oligurie, edema, accelerated hypertension, severe anemia and
pruritus.
Patients who suffer from Renal Insufficiency should make some changes on
lifestyles in daily life so that the damaged kidney function can be adjusted.
First, patients should pay attention to health care and do some exercise, thus
to enhance the ability of resistance. In addition, patients should take a timely
treatment in treating upper respiratory tract infection and clear up focal
infection. Besides, it is necessary to treat primary disease, diabetes, systemic
lupus erythematosus and hypertension, etc. Also, patients should prevent the
medical damage to kidney.
Renal Insufficiency patients should take treatment as soon as possible. At
present, after many years’ researches, there is a specialized therapy for this
disease: the combination of Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, Immune
Adsorption and Blood Purification Technical System and Stem Cell Transplant
Technology. The joint action of the three characteristics highlighted the five
therapeutic effects of kidney treatment: blocking, adsorption, purification,
recovering and rebuilding. The combination of Chinese and Western medicines
ensure a timely and effectively treatment.
Stem cell has the abilities of immune adjustment and repairing the damaged
cells, thus achieving the goal of rebuilding the body function and restoring
epithelial cells of damaged glomeruli. Stem Cell Therapy has realized a
remarkable achievement. Several patients with Renal Insufficiency has blocked
the disease progress and avoided the dialysis.
