During the Doctor-Patient Exchange Meeting, we have covered a patient of
Polycystic Kidney Disease. Mrs. Tian, from Chifeng City of Inner Mongolia
Autonomous Region, is a patient of Polycystic Kidney Disease. Among the seven
brothers and sisters, four of them have this disease and three has dead because
of this disease. So she was the last one who still alive with this disease. The
disease attacked her in the April of 2008. As she knew this is a genetic disease
and three of her brothers and sisters, she didn’t hope much for the
treatment.
However, accidentally, her niece found Shijiazhuang Kidney Disease Hospital
on the internet. So they want her to come to have a try.
At first, Mrs. Tian just came here to have a try without too much hope.
During the interview, she told us she was afraid of being cheated by the
hospital. Because many famous hospitals in china have no good treatment for her
disease, why this hospital can promise a good treatment effect for me? So, when
she came here first time, she just brought 3000 yuan RMB with her. In her mind,
she thought even if she would be cheated she just lost 3000 yuan.
When she arrived Shijiazhuang Kidney Disease Hospital, all the nurses and
doctors were very zealous to help her to lift her bags and look after her. As
she never treated like this in other hospitals and she thought this is not real,
so she thought she was cheated.
However, after one week’s treatment, she felt her condition began to get
better. And during the week, the nurses and doctors were always very zealous and
helpful and she can felt they were taking care of her with love. So, her
impression of this hospital gradually changed from distrust to trust. Then she
insisted on treatment here for about one month and her condition was basically
controlled and stable. After the hospitalization, she insisted on the treatment
home for about one year. Now her cysts have no sign of enlargement and all her
test indexes are in the normal level.
During the interview, she said that she was lucky because she has come here.
If her brothers and sister can find this hospital early, maybe they are still
alive. So she hopes more patients of Polycystic Kidney Disease can find and come
here early. For more information, please Email us at khkpcn@hotmail.com
